Stage 3 participants are challenged to post one or two ideas on how to utilize a tool or methods with the LINC courseware on the Sharing Resource and Ideas forum. This thought was shared over the past few months along with others that will be posted at this portal.
I am hoping that by using Latest News and the Calendar elements to advise students of deadlines for assignments and presentations as well as class and College events I will eliminate the usual 10 minute housekeeping at the beginning of each day and can instead use this time for warm-up or current events. In addition by using the Quizzes tool with automatic grading, I will save time that I can put towards lesson planning and development. In short, the more I can use the system as a communication and teaching tool, the more class time I save and the more I can teach the students.

Completing Stage 3 or Stage 4 of the LearnIT2Teach teacher training has been recognized by TESL Ontario as a Post TESL Certificate Training Accreditation Course. Upon successful completion of one of the stages, TESL Ontario members are encouraged to apply to the organization for the accreditation. However, if a teacher completed Stage 3 prior to July 2014, she or he is not eligible as the training stage has been modified to meet TESL Ontario PTCT criteria.
