Welcome to Learn IT 2 Teach

Welcome to LearnIT2Teach.ca, the Internet portal for Ontario LINC professionals wanting to get started with online blended learning or to deepen their knowledge through formal professional development. These materials and the teacher training is FREE for LINC and Adult ESL teachers in Ontario.

Professionals and their LINC programs will benefit from the technology tools the project provides: more than 450 LINC learning objects for classroom use; links to a Learning Object Repository (Tutela.ca) where teachers can evaluate specific objects and download them for distribution to learners; a learning management system designed specifically for Ontario LINC Service Provider Organizations (edlinc.ca).

Please browse the site for information or ideas. We strongly encourage Ontario LINC practitioners to explore the face-to-face and online professional development opportunities offered by the project.

The LearnIT2teach project provides Ontario LINC teachers with the technology tools to implement blended learning in their programs, as well as a FREE four stage teacher training and professional develop program to master the tools.

Teacher participants will learn how to integrate online learning through:

  • Face-to-face delivery of Stage One training at TESL Ontario, local LINC PD days, TESL Affiliate events or by arrangement with LINC Service Provider Organizations.
  • Online delivery of Stages Two, Three and Four.
