We invite LINC instructors to use our NEW lesson plans about the use of technology for learning.
The in-class activities included in the lesson plans and the online survey were developed to support LINC instructors’ use of Blended Learning in their teaching and foster an understanding of the challenges and opportunities for integration of learning technology.
These Blended Learning activities help Newcomers understand the importance of digital literacy and IT in our lives today and engage them in low-stakes online interactions that will prepare them to access resources and services related to their settlement that are increasingly offered online.
As part of the lesson plans, LINC learners are asked to participate in our online survey. The survey results are collected by New Language Solutions for the LearnIT2teach project. The survey is anonymous. Results may be used to inform technology planning and blended learning at your program.Program-level results to inform technology planning and blended learning implementation at your program can be requested from LearnIT2teach. If your program is interested in receiving program-level results, please ask your administrator, before learners complete the survey, to contact matthias @ learnit2teach.ca. You will be provided with instructions about how to replace the link and QR code to access the survey in the lesson plans.
