Members of the LearnIT2Teach project team will be presenting “Gamify Your Moodle Course With Badges” at the TESL Ontario Conference in Toronto. Badges are used to recognize skills and achievements and they can help motivate online learning. This hands on session explains the concept of badges and demonstrates how to enable and award them in a Moodle course using common activity types in the LINC courseware at edulinc.org. View samples of these badges by visiting this page http://www.learnit2teach.ca/badges/ which show example of Badges to be used at the LINC 4 level.
